Knots & Stems started during one of those random
creative moments when everything was on hold during COVID. I was 16, still in
high school, and I found myself intrigued  with macramé. What started as a fun way to
pass time quickly turned into a real passion for making unique, handmade
pieces. With the help of my mum, Natalie, we decided to turn that passion into
something bigger, and that’s how Knots & Stems was born.

Fast forward a couple of years, and it’s crazy how much
we’ve grown. Now that I’ve finished school, I’m excited to work on Knots &
Stems full-time, making macramé a bigger part of my life. Over the last two
years, we’ve built a strong presence at artisan markets all over Perth, and
we’re proud to have our pieces stocked in some local collectives with fellow
creatives.

For me, it’s all about creating something beautiful and
meaningful. I love staying busy and being creative, and every piece I make is
done with care, attention to detail, and a goal to add a little extra something
special to your space. I can’t wait to see where Knots & Stems goes next as
we keep sharing our love for macramé and connecting with the community.
